Grandeur

Grandeur is a unique composition in the signature "composable block printing" style of the artist, wherein he modularly applies smaller hand carved blocks to create large pieces. His Japandi style is inspired by wabi-sabi and Bauhaus design aesthetics, and believes that handmade art should be accessible, imperfect, and functionally evocative for both patron and artist. To Nate, each hand carved printing block is totemic, a physical embodiment of memory, and an opportunity for spontaneous fermentation of new work.
